Depository Corporations Survey (DCS)
The data related to the Depository Corporations Survey (DCS), processed and published according to the methodology defined with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), represent a reclassification of information from the aggregation of CBSM and banking system accounting data. These are derived from the "1SR" and "2SR" statistical models, respectively, as part of the Monetary and Financial Statistics (MFS) transmitted monthly to the IMF.
The DCS statistics provide, through the consolidation and reclassification of balance sheet accounts by institutional sectors, an analytical representation of net claims on both the nonresident and resident sectors. Additionally, it details liabilities that are included in or excluded from "broad money"¹ .
