Institutional reference point

Institutional liaison to international financial organizations, central banks and foreign supervisory authorities

The Central Bank is assigned the role of institutional referent, consistent with its purposes and functions, to International Financial Organizations and to Central Banks, Supervisory Authorities or similar foreign authorities.

CBSM maintains relations with a wide range of foreign referents: central banks and supervisory authorities, international institutions (International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Bank for International Settlements), International Organizations (OECD, European Commission, etc.), Associations (International Deposit Insurance Association, European Deposit Insurance Association, etc.). For most of these referents, the CBSM also produces a series of statistical data and information that ensure the Republic of San Marino the appropriate visibility in the international arena.
