Transposition of the Community Acquis in financial matters
Updated ANNEX of the Monetary Convention
The Monetary Convention signed with the European Union in March 2012 requires the Republic of San Marino to transpose the main rules of theacquis communautaire in financial matters. The transposition takes place according to pre-established deadlines set out in a special annex to the convention.
A specialjoint committee (Joint Committee) formed by representatives of San Marino and the EU meets at least once a year with the task of assessing the transposition of the legislation and updating the list of individual provisions subject to implementation in the Republic of San Marino on the basis of time-to-time changes to the EU acquis.
