San Marino towards Europe

Due to its institutional role, the Central Bank supports the Government of the Republic of San Marino in the relationships and contacts with the European Union for issues related to the financial system of San Marino and for all issues for which it is competent.

CBSM, through its representatives, takes part to the government delegations in charge of negotiating agreements with the EU or, more in general, of negotiating specific issues related to the financial system.

This section of the website contains the documents and information useful for the purpose of understanding the agreements of the Republic of San Marino with the EU currently in force as regards to financial issues and, at the same time, the status of the negotiations for a new association agreement that could revolutionise the operations and the market of reference of the financial undertakings of San Marino.
