Today, at the request of the Extraordinary Commissioner and following a favorable opinion from the Supervisory Committee, the Coordination of Supervision, pursuant to Article 82 of Law No. 165/2005, has authorized a further extension of 30 days, commencing at 00:00 on May 26, 2022, of the payment suspension measure for Compagnia Sammarinese di Assicurazioni S.p.A., currently under extraordinary administration. This extension is aimed at safeguarding the interests of policyholders and creditors.
Taking into account the verification activities conducted by the procedural authorities, the exclusion of Branch III policies from the aforementioned payment suspension measure is hereby confirmed.
