On May 19 and 20, the Director General of the Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino, together with colleagues from the technical table dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, took part in AI Week in Milan.
The presence of CBSM at this international event, among the main European events dedicated to the topic, is part of the path of adoption of AI in its processes, confirming the attention to emerging technologies that are transforming the global economic, organizational and financial architecture.
Artificial Intelligence represents a strategic catalyst for CBSM: advanced tools for data analysis, predictive models for supervision, more efficient operational processes and enhanced security systems against cyber threats.
During the two-day event in Milan, CBSM's delegation actively participated in panels and speeches by world-class experts, delving into crucial topics such as the impact of the AI Act, software and hardware solutions to ensure data sovereignty, business process overhaul, implications for complex organizations such as financial institutions, and training tools aimed at engaging staff, an essential factor in ensuring the success of the digital transformation that has been initiated.
In addition, the event provided an opportunity to engage with institutions, companies and startups in the field, expanding knowledge and strengthening relationships with strategic players in the tech-financial world.
Participation in AI Week testifies to CBSM's desire to actively govern change, seizing the stimuli of a market in great ferment to build a San Marino financial infrastructure that is increasingly cutting-edge, secure, competitive and aligned with European standards.
