Memoranda of Understanding

The cooperation between central banks is an important tool for enhancing expertise and knowledge, increasing, at the same time, the effectiveness of the supervisory activity.

The Central Banks cooperate with each other through several instruments, on a multilateral basis, within international organisations, or bilaterally by means of the execution of specific agreements.

The Central Bank promotes, based on the development trends of the financial system of San Marino, the execution of specific agreements with similar foreign authorities for the purpose of allowing an adequate supervision on investments abroad by financial entities of San Marino and on the investments and activities in San Marino by foreign financial entities.

This section of the website includes information related to the agreements currently in force.
