The national payments system is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and in the following dates:

  • 5 February - Anniversary of the Liberation of the Republic from Alberonian occupation (1740) and the Feast of St. Agata, patron saint, along with San Marino
  • 25 March - Anniversary of the "Arengo"
  • 1 April - Investiture of the Captains Regent (Heads of State)
  • 16 April - Easter Sunday
  • 17 April - Easter Monday
  • 1 May - Labour Day
  • 15 June - Corpus Domini
  • 28 July - Anniversary of the Fall of Fascism and Freedom Day
  • 15 August - Assumption of the Virgin
  • 3 September - San Marino National Holiday and Foundation of the Republic
  • 1 October - Investiture of the Captains Regent (Heads of State)
  • 1 November - All Saints Day
  • 2 November - Commemoration of the Dead
  • 8 December - Immaculate Conception
  • 24 December - Holiday
  • 25 December - Christmas
  • 26 December - Boxing Day
  • 31 December - Holiday
